Meet Dr. Becky Rumph-Pender
Living a Chiropractic Lifestyle
Dr. Becky was born while her father was attending chiropractic college in Davenport, Iowa. As early as her preschool days, she already knew what she wanted to do in life. Her teacher had written on her report card that Dr. Becky wanted to be a chiropractor just like her father.
While growing up, Dr. Becky noticed how she never seemed to get sick. Although common in her classmates she simply didn’t get colds or the flu. “As I got older, I wanted to help people to experience the same levels of health that I do. I subscribe to the chiropractic philosophy that if you adjust the spine your body’s immune system will do its job.”
A Chiropractic Education
Dr. Becky attended Michigan State and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. She continued onto Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Since graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic, she has become certified in Activator Methods® and Nutrition Response Testing. She sees patients during all stages of life, from birth on. “I love seeing a new mom come to the office after having a baby. They haven’t even been home yet, but they know they need their infant checked. It shows the trust they have in what we do and how much chiropractic can help them.”
She is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the League of Chiropractic Women and is on the board of Clarkston SCAMP, a five-week summer camp for children with disabilities.
